Puppy 101 - Puppy Class
Who should attend: vaccinated puppies under 5 months of ageWhat to bring with you: Your puppy on a regular collar and leash. No choke chains or "pinch" collars. Lots of tasty soft treats for rewards.
Puppy 101 – each class period provides your pup with 15 – 20 minutes of socialization/play time with the other pups. This allows the pup to interact with other puppies and learn how to communicate to each other. Then we move to 15 minutes of desensitization to the big scary world. This involves letting the pups conquer their fears of the vacuum cleaner, a wheel chair, scary people in hats, textures, etc. The last 15 minutes of each puppy class provides basic obedience skills. We will work on “sit”, “down”, “stay”, “target”, “go to bed”, and walking on a leash. Puppy 101 is for dogs younger than 5 months and lasts for 6 weeks
